Roaming With Reef

by Daniella Grace in , , ,

Between countless days of being a complete beach bum, climbing waterfalls, hiking through the Na'ili'ili bamboo forest and road tripping the windy road to Hana these adorable flats by Reef have been here with me in Hawaii every step of the way! And in a day these cute little puppies and I will be hoping on a plane back to LA.. I wonder where my adventures will take us to next..!? Aloha 💙

LA >> SF

by Daniella Grace in ,

Oh how I love last minute trips.. Especially when they involve visiting my favorite little 'City by the Bay.' I'm here in San Francisco for a few days shooting and spending some quality time with family and my girlfriend Jessica (check out her travel blog Bon Traveler). In between shooting, Jess and I stopped in at our favorite little nook of a coffee shop, Wrecking Ball Coffee, on 18th and York St for a quick cappuccino catch up. Then it was right back to work.. Lake Tahoe

by Daniella Grace in ,

Whenever I find a break between my travels, you can always find me at home. There's no better place in the world for me to go to just unwind, feel completely stress free, and just loved. Ya know? It's the best feeling in the world knowing no matter where I am, I can always come back to this. And the scenery isn't too bad either! ;)

Napa Valley

by Daniella Grace in ,

Nothing like a quick stop in Napa Valley for a day to visit one of my best girlfriends… Roaming around, eating good food and drinking even better wine is not a bad way to beat jet lag if you ask me... I might have to do this more often. Now I'm heading back to Lake Tahoe for a few days for my friends baby shower! Xx

Airport

by Daniella Grace in

We're on our way back to California and what better way to kill some time at the airport then by wine tasting…!? Haha. Leave it to my dad and I to get some quality bonding time in over drinks. ;) My family and I had an amazing time in Palm Beach and I must say, I'm a little sad to be leaving so soon. But this 90 degree weather back home isn't sounding too bad either… ;) See you guys back in Los Angeles! Xo

Sand Castles Premiere

by Daniella Grace in ,

Here's a collection of photos from the premiere of Sand Castles. Seeing the film for the first time was so surreal… After filming over a year ago in Indiana to now, it was so rewarding to be reunited with part of the cast/crew again and to be able to watch the movie together. I am still at a loss for words on how incredible the film was…  but I will say that I am unbelievable honored and proud to be a part of something so special. And a BIG thank you to everyone who played a special part in making this film and to all of you who have supported us along the way! Look out for a screening near you soon! www.sandcastlesfilm.com

Missing You Already..

by Daniella Grace in ,

All good things must come to an end.. This past month in Italy has been one incredible experience. Between work, checking out the school I'll be attending this summer, Polimoda, and being a complete tourist, I couldn't have asked for a better trip. The weather was beyond exceptional as I found myself being able to wear shorts and t-shirts most of the days, the food, well I don't think I have to explain to you that one and being able to spend time with old and new friends… It was perfect.

Here's a collection of my favorite photos from the trip ranging from the scenery to the food. Enjoy :)

Venezia

by Daniella Grace in ,

Since the girls are only in town for a few more days, we couldn't pass up a quick trip to Venice, considering it's only a 2 1/2 hr drive from Florence. This is another one of my favorite cities.. Yes, I say this a lot.. but this is by far the most romantic city I've visited yet. Maybe it's all the public displays of affection or the simple fact that Casanova himself was from here.. Either way, every time I come back to this city, I fall in love all over again... â™¥â™¥â™¥â™¥â™¥â™¥â™¥

Firenze

by Daniella Grace in ,

Out of all of  the places in the world, Italy has found a special place in my heart. It fuels my undying love for food and fashion and being the extremely passionate person that I am, it's safe to say that I fit in here just fine. Having lived here briefly three years ago, it felt like forever since I was last here, but the second that I stepped foot off of the plane,  I felt like I was right back at home. Come to think of it, it's because of Italy and all of the inspiration I get when I'm here, that I started my first blog to keep my family and friends at home updated on my travels. Many of you have continued to follow along over the years and I wish to thank all of you for the continued support.

This week, I'm in Florence to shoot but I decided to make an extra long trip out of this since I technically don't have to be back in the states until the premiere of my movie Sand Castles in April. My family and friends showed up a day later to surprise me and we've been running around eating, shopping, drinking cappuccinos and wine like you wouldn't believe. We're hoping to make it to Venice in the next few days,  but for now, I'm more than enjoying being back in Toscana. :)

Memory Lane..

by Daniella Grace in , , ,

There's no question that I'm a bit of a 'travelholic'. Ever since I can remember, I've been on the go. I blame my parents for taking my sister and I on frequent trips at least once a month when we were younger. We'd travel anywhere from tropical islands, to the mountains of Idaho, to month long road trips across the county, hitting every museum and landmark along the way… All of this was made possible from our homeschooling which enabled us to always be on the go. I believe that there is a time and a place for 'text book leaning' but the knowledge you gain through experiencing different cultures first hand, is something that can't be taught by sitting behind a desk.

I feel extremely blessed that my parents have passed this philosophy down to me, as all of these experiences have shaped me into who I've become. So today, I want to dedicate this blog post to a few of the places that are dearest to me. The memories I have and all of the people I've met along the way will continue to inspire me and stay in my heart forever. Xx

Many more adventures to come in 2014! Next stop______?
