Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes! I couldn't imagine a better way to spend the day then with my family and best friends... The girls and I have finally made it to our destination and I must say, San Sebastián is certainly living up to all the hype! To be honest, this was never a place I thought to go out of my way to visit, but ever since I landed in Spain a month ago, countless people (including a lot of you) have been telling me that I neeeeeeded to come here. So, I owe you all a big thank you for the recommendations because the girls and I are in heaven! Also, we lucked out on three full days of sunshine after a long cold front.. I can't tell you how happy I am to finally be back in a bikini! Bring on the sun and sangria!

The Road to San Sebastián
While driving up the coast from Bilbao to San Sebastián, we ouldn't help but pullover for a bit of site seeing.. Which turned into a few hours of hiking out to this beautiful little island called Gaztelugatxe. These photos are proof that sometimes the most spontaneous decisions end up making some of the most amazing memories.. Oh and some seriously sore legs..
Barcelona
Here's a little look into my stay here in Barcelona.. Believe it or not, I really enjoy being a tourist when I travel as I generally don't get to sightsee very often. Usually, I have certain places to be or people to meet and then I'm back on a plane to LA before I know it. But this week is all about leisure. So as I sit here now, on a double-decker bus, with a map in one hand and a beer in the other, I realize, this is how traveling should be..

Thank you AC Santo Mauro for making me feel right at home in Madrid.. This hotel was the perfect place to unwind and just disconnect from everything .. I will surely be visiting again soon! Back to Barcelona I go.. ✈️
What's Underneath?
Some people are obsessed with watches, shoes, purses, etc.. but for me, it's elegant lingerie. It just does something to me.. And I think it's the beauty behind how something so delicate and intricate can make a woman feel so empowered. And mind you, I'm not talking about wearing lingerie in just a seductive way but more so as an everyday appreciation of yourself.. No one even has to know. Christian Dior once said, "Real elegance is everywhere especially in the things that don't show.." and that's exactly how I feel about my underwear.. It's what's underneath, that counts.. ❤️

Finally back in one of my favorite Spanish cities, Madrid. Between my friends, the shopping, site seeing and incredible food, no trip to Europe feels complete without a stopover here.. And yes, walking on these cobblestone lined streets is a talent I've acquired through trial and error! ;)

Running Around Town
The girls and I got together this afternoon to enjoy some cafe con leche's and do a bit of site seeing.. The more I roam around Girona, the more I realize how much history and beauty is in this little town.. It's such a unique place to experience. Being here is like living in a museum.. Expect all the ancient artifacts are on display to be touched and or walked upon. It's as if time's stood still here and the only thing changing is its people..

Sant Miquel
Today miss Kate and I got our booties back outside and hiked 5 miles up to the historic mountain top of Sant Miquel. The view from the top is seriously unbelievable and to be honest , the photos here do not do it justice. Once you've made the 5 mile treck up hill (or if you're lazy, drive up the back road) you then climb an extremely windy staircase to the top of the Sant Miquel fortress. When you finally reach the top, there's an incredible 360 view consisting of all the surrounding cities of Girona, the shores of Costa Brava, and even the snow capped mountain tops of the French Pyrenees. This place is heaven on earth.

24hrs - Spain
Finally, I've made my way back over to Europe. As you know, every year, I block off a month of two back home so I'm able to come over here for work and of course a bit of pleasure...
And after 14hrs of travel, I've landed back in my favorite little city of Girona. So far, I've managed to drink my way through 12 cafe con leche's and 2 bottles of vino (not all to myself of course). ;) I figured this was the best and most pleasurable way to cure jet lag.. Hehe. Anywho, Kate and I are on our way now to do a bit of shopping downtown but here's a few photos of my past 24hrs in Spain! Xo
Behind The Scenes
Today I'm shooting with the (drop dead gorgeous) French photographer, Emmanuelle Choussy. I love stepping away from the retuine (simplistic beach shoots) every once in a while and shooting editorials. There's just something about being in room full of 12 creative minds, everyone bringing their own passions to the table and watching them work together to create something beautiful.
