Like most this winter, I am obsessing over turtleneck sweaters this season... Especially the big oversized, knit ones. This one from Cupcakes and Cashmere is so comfortable and perfect for chilly days back in San Francisco...

Here's some of my top picks to add to your wardrobe for 2016. I'm really into cozy sweaters, vibrant bags for a pop of color, and round sunnies!
I just love spur of the moment trips! I had originally planned to visit my family in Portugal this week but when my sister told me she had booked herself a ticket to Italy and was landing in just a few short hours, I had no choice but to change plans, grab by backpack and hop on a plane.. Haha. So with that said, my sister and I have decided to do a little bonding by eating and drinking our way through Italy. Our first stop is (her favorite city) Venice and next we head to my most cherished city, Florence. But our trip doesn't stop there! Stay tuned to see where we end up next.. Arrivederci! 🇮🇹
I've only been in Paris for four days and it has already won over my heart.. I now understand why everyone raves about this city and I can't believe that out of all my travels, it has taken me this long to visit... Once I find a place that I love, it's hard for me to want to travel anywhere else... I am notorious for that... But now I will admit that I regret how long it's taken me to properly visit Paris. The quick layovers I've had here in the past just don't cut it. Also, I lucked out having the best Parisian tour guide by my side to show me all the beauty this place hides outside all the touristy attractions.. And honestly, at this point, as long as I have a croque madame in one had and a macaron in the other, I think I'd be a happy camper no matter where you put me. 🇫🇷

I'm a big fan of combining form fitting with structured pieces. I think it's a great way to achieve a more elegant/timeless look and it really embraces femininity.
Also here's a great quote to remember when getting dressed: "Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance." - Coco Chanel.
Out of all of the places in the world, Italy has found a special place in my heart. It fuels my undying love for food and fashion and being the extremely passionate person that I am, it's safe to say that I fit in here just fine. Having lived here briefly three years ago, it felt like forever since I was last here, but the second that I stepped foot off of the plane, I felt like I was right back at home. Come to think of it, it's because of Italy and all of the inspiration I get when I'm here, that I started my first blog to keep my family and friends at home updated on my travels. Many of you have continued to follow along over the years and I wish to thank all of you for the continued support.
This week, I'm in Florence to shoot but I decided to make an extra long trip out of this since I technically don't have to be back in the states until the premiere of my movie Sand Castles in April. My family and friends showed up a day later to surprise me and we've been running around eating, shopping, drinking cappuccinos and wine like you wouldn't believe. We're hoping to make it to Venice in the next few days, but for now, I'm more than enjoying being back in Toscana. :)
I love days where I can just throw on all my favorite items and go… I tend to obsess over certain pieces and will literally wear them to death so here's a peak at a few of the obsessions in my wardrobe at the moment. Xx
Finally I'm back in my second home!!! Although this is just a short trip to do a little shooting, I will surely be back in Miami again soon and maybe the next time, it'll be for good. ;)
Today I'm featuring this beautiful cut-out dress by Maurie & Eve which is perfectly sophisticated yet still alluring. What better combination is there!?
Ladies, there's no need to bear it all to look sexy. Leaving a little to the imagination should always be a key rule when getting dressed for a night out. I mean, we can all agree, there's nothing sexier than a woman who's confident within herself, she doesn't have to reveal it all turn heads. Remember, if you're showing a little more on top, make sure to cover up on the bottom and vice versa! Xx
